“The HellRazor” Nostalgia Blown Hemi front engine dragster, originally built in 1967 in the shop of Maurice Bresnahan by Bernier & Hoitt. All current chassis upgrades to 7.5 sec. by Tube Chassis Designz to current NHRA/IHRA specifications.
The “HellRazor” is powered by a 1957 392 c.i. Chrysler Hemi motor. There is less than 30 minutes on new motor with six passes at ½ throttle. This motor is loaded with high end components. Such as a crank ground by Velasco for 426 rods & blower clearance, Crane cam with Ultra Pro roller tappets, Smith 4130 HT fixed length pushrods, Milodon Hi-flow oil pump and rebuilt 6-71 Weiand blower by Bob Ellison to name a few.
The drivetrain is complete with JW UltraBell housing and case, JW powerglide rebuilt and upgraded to 2000 HP specifications, 10” SS JW converter updated and also upgraded for 2000 HP, JW billet flywheel, 8 ¾ Chrysler rear end with 5:30 gears and a Moser 30 spline with 4340 HT axles.
The “HellRazor” is running on Cragar wheels and Hoosier tires with Wilwood brakes.
The “HellRazor” was previously run as an injected car with several wins and runs in the low 8 seconds @ 185 mph. The current blown configuration is estimated at 2000 HP.
