1957 Chevrolet 3100 Pickup Truck, from 1955 to 1957 this series of trucks were built on what GM called the “Task Force” platform.
This Chevrolet 3100 Pickup has undergone a complete body off frame restoration utilizing the a more modern drivetrain consisting of a completely rebuilt 350 cubic inch four bolt main motor mated to a 700R4 automatic transmission. During the restoration power steering and power front disc brakes as well as air conditioning were added to this truck. The rear end is a 10 bolt posi with 3.42 gears.
This truck is finished in Marlboro Maroon with a Polo White roof. The interior has been finished and upgraded with a white and maroon interior. The bed of the truck has been beautifully finished in southern yellow pine with polished stainless steel hardware.
The truck is running at the stock ride height with maroon painted steel wheels and BF Goodrich redline radial tires.
This is a very good example of a pickup truck which has been built and upgraded with modern conveniences but maintaining the original character of the truck.
