1965 Chevrolet Corvette Convertible
The 1965 Chevrolet Corvette Sting Ray had subtle but effective changes such as redesigned louvers behind the front wheels providing increase air flow through the engine compartment and a new grille design that highlighted the center of the car bringing your eye to the smooth contoured hood. The 1965 Corvette also had disc brakes at all four wheels providing excellent stopping power.
This 1965 Chevrolet Corvette is in very good overall condition. The numbers matching 327ci, 300hp motor runs extremely well and strong and is mated to the correct numbers matching Muncie four speed transmission. Behind all that is a Posi traction rear end, Carter AFB 4-barrel carburetor, and intake manifold that all perform and look as they did leaving the factory in St. Louis, Missouri in 1965.
The body shows no cracks or heavy scratches and has the factory color Red paint which is in very good condition and has great depth and shine. The Red Vinyl interior is also matching the original color and in very good condition. The dash, seats and carpet show no signs of excessive wear and present very well. The black vinyl convertible top opens easily, has a clear rear window and no signs of wear. This Corvette also comes with a hardtop as well as a correct set of steel wheels that are only in primer and a full set of original style chrome hubcaps.
The undercarriage of this 1965 Corvette is in very good condition with no signs of corrosion or frame damage. This car has also been upgraded with side exhaust and simulated knock off wheels.
